Now in our 17th year in Southend-on-Sea, Mestre Biscuim and Mestra Sininha welcome you to join us for our annual festival. A three-day celebration of Capoeira, Brazilian culture and community in all its colours.
Across the weekend, we'll be joined by a wonderful group of special guests, with inclusive workshops for children and adults, our Capoeira Batizado, live music, dance, delicious Brazilian food, and plenty of time to gather, connect and celebrate together.
Tambozeiro is the most important date in our calendar.
It is our opportunity to celebrate the devotion, growth and commitment of our community, and to bring friends old and new together for a weekend that is always full of energy, movement and connection.
If you've joined us before, you'll know there is something very special about the atmosphere created across the weekend. Each festival is different. Each gathering creates its own story.
And if this is your first Tambozeiro, we would love to welcome you into the circle.
Southend-on-Sea is easy to reach, just 50 minutes from London by train, with London Southend Airport only 10 minutes from the city centre.
